English Summary/英文概要： Forty-two year-old McKenzie Arnold wants to spend one last summer with her best friends in the world, her soul mates. She’s been coming to Albany Beach, to the same cottage, with Aurora, Janine, and Lilly since she was eleven. This will be McKenzie’s last because she’s been diagnosed with terminal cancer; she has less than a year to live.

The four women are determined to make the most of the time they have left together, but the beach cottage is haunted with past memories, secrets, and emotions long swept beneath the old carpets. Through tears, and with laughter, old wounds are healed and new memories are made. As their time together draws to an end, McKenzie knows that with the love and support of her friends, she can face her death with courage. Nothing, however, has prepared the four life-long friends for how the summer will end.
